Mr. Chris McCormick has over 30 years experience in the construction industry. In his formative years, Mr. McCormick undertook various site management roles within main contracting organisations, including tender and project planning. During his time as a planner, he established a track record of producing robust programmes from first principles. Mr. McCormick also managed the onsite planning and programming function of various multimillion-pound projects.
In 2006, Mr. McCormick moved away from main contracting into consultancy to further his career in the field of forensic planning and delay analysis. Since his move into consultancy, he has been appointed as delay expert on around 100 occasions and his reports have been used in litigation, arbitration and adjudication proceedings. Mr. McCormick has also undertaken various non-contentious commissions including project monitoring, programme audit, the development of planning systems and the delivery of planning related training.
Mr. McCormick has extensive experience of claims preparation management and a proven ability to assist lawyers and Counsel by explaining complex issues in a concise an intelligible manner. He has experience of structured negotiation, ENE, adjudication, mediation, arbitration, litigation and has been examined by Counsel in mediation and adjudication. Mr. McCormick is a CUBS certified civil expert witness.
