Capital Consulting International (“CCi”) is a successful specialist project management and claims consultancy and is the market leader in providing independent time, cost and engineering services across multiple market sectors to the global insurance market. Founded over 20 years ago, CCi has provided expert support on some of the largest and most complex insurance claims around the world.

As part of its ongoing expansion plans, CCi has today announced that it has acquired the specialist forensic quantum, delay and engineering business – CNS Consult.

The acquisition leverages the respective strengths of CCi and CNS Consult, enhancing the portfolio of services CCi offers and significantly strengthens CCi’s ability to support clients in both insurance claims and construction disputes.

With an increasing demand for a more streamlined provision of expert services to support insurance claims and dispute resolution, CCi can now offer a comprehensive range of expert solutions, to help more clients worldwide. The acquisition also provides a platform for CCi to accelerate its growth in Europe, US, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Latin America.

"We are really excited about the opportunity to put together two high quality, successful companies. CNS provides complementary services to those offered by CCi, which will significantly enhance the solutions that we can offer to existing and new clients, and to deliver those solutions efficiently and effectively."

CNS will bring significant additional expertise and joining the existing Senior Management team at CCi of Alan Purbrick, Steven Horne (London) and Luke Longcroft (New York) will be Ian Gunton and Dave Webster. Ian Gunton is a delay expert with over 35 years’ experience in the construction and dispute area. Dave Webster has 36 years’ experience in the construction sector and as the former CEO of Driver Group, has a huge amount of knowledge and capability within the construction dispute resolution market.

"We are delighted that CNS Consult will be joining the highly successful CCi group. We believe that clients will benefit greatly from the expanded services, locations and technical expertise the newly joined companies provide."

The acquisition means that CCi now has offices in London, Manchester, Glasgow, New York, Houston, Chicago, Miami, San Francisco and Singapore.

"The enlarged business will allow us to provide quantum, delay and technical expert services to a global client base whilst the London team now includes one of the largest groups of delay analysts in the market."

CCi has worked on some of the world’s largest projects and insurance claims, such as the Jamnagar Refinery, Ituango Hydroelectric Plant and YME MOPUstor platform, as well as being the delay experts on Wembley Stadium and monitoring the construction of the key venues for the 2012 London Olympics.
